Dr. Arun Rajeswaran is renowned for his commitment to provide best possible care for all his patients and his expert approach to proceeding the surgeries. He is currently a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Division Chief of Neurosurgery at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi. At the National Institute of Medical Health and Neurosciences, he joined as a Junior Resident from 2009 till 2012 and then was a Senior Resident from 2012 to 2014. He has done specialized fellowships in Pediatric Neurosurgery from the University of Calgary based in Canada along with a fellowship in Minimally Invasive spine and Skull base surgeries from St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney based in Australia. He has a professional experience of more than 13 years in brain and spine surgeries. He has spent a lot of time helping people attain a better quality of life.
Dr. Arun has been awarded many awards. In 2015, he received a “Silver Jubilee Award for Best Outgoing Resident in Neurosurgery” from the Prime minister of India. He received the NSI award for the Best paper in Neurosurgery for the 63rd Annual Conference of Neurological Society of India (NSI) and also got awarded the best International paper award for the 83rd AANS Annual Scientific meeting. He also received the Best poster award for the same paper in June 2013.
His fine approach to individual patient care helps ensure that all his patients receive the best treatment and care. He keeps incorporating new technologies and procedures into his medical practice for the benefit of the patients.
